Network Management Center (NMC)

The MCS Network Management Center (NMC) is located at the Corporate Headquarters of Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida (USA). The NMC is the physical hub of the MCS global telecommunication network. It provides fully managed network services, serves as the gateway to the Internet and the interface to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) for communications to and from all international destinations.

Our NMC is staffed 24 x 7 x 365 with skilled technicians and engineers who themselves install and operate these systems at sea.

Land Earth Stations (LES)

Our Land Earth Stations (LES) are continuously staffed and environmentally controlled with fully redundant systems. They are strategically located to provide seamless global coverage.

Terrestrial Networks

MCS makes use of Public Packet Data Services to connect our customers worldwide. This service is based on Frame Relay, VPN, MPLS, or Point-toPoint Networks. All provide minimal latency and high reliability through the use of fiber optics. MCS maintains a backbone terrestrial link between our worldwide earth stations to ensure ease of maintaining connectivity even during a global cruise.
