The OceanNet program expands the data collection capabilities of the scientific community by reducing overall costs, allowing more complex sensors to be deployed, providing near real-time high data rate throughput, and enabling long term observation of ocean sites. Real time acoustic or seismic data, imagery, and other bandwidth intensive applications are all possible. Help us determine future locations for the Ocean Net buoys by registering and filling out our user survey.
