Buoy locations will be determined by user demand. Surveys are currently being distributed to select future locations of OceanNet buoys. OceanNet will expand scientific collection capabilities by reducing overall experiment costs, allowing more complex sensors to be deployed, providing real-time high data rate throughput, and enabling long term in-situ observation of ocean sites. We encourage ideas, and are actively looking for deployment sites that can support a wide variety of experimental packages.
